Will you be affected by the Thames Clipper evening cut?

I've just read that the Thames Clipper service is going to be cut in the evening. According to the News Shopper, from November 1st:
-
It always feels a little bit James Bond, doesn't it?
"The last service from Royal Arsenal Woolwich is currently 11pm but will now leave at 8.15pm.
From the O2 people will have to leave almost three hours early to catch the 8.25pm boat, which currently leaves at 11.10pm.
Later boats will be provided from the O2 when events are taking place"
That's one heck of a cut. I've never used the service that late (and
rarely do, actually), and I live close enough to the 02 to walk home.
But if the last bus journey home from Greenwich to Woolwich was at 9pm,
people would have a serious issue with it. Whilst it might not affect
those going to a gig at the 02, the 9pm boat from Embankment might be
more of an issue. That is going to cause problems for people trying to
get home from work late.
I'm not sure if this is just a winter thing, or if people aren't
using the service that late. As I say, I never have. I understand that
running rosts are the same for the service no matter how many people use
it, but I'm keen to hear from people who do use the service that late.
And more importantly than that, will your journey be massively affected
by getting a train or the DLR?
