As a lover of mexican food...and beer! Im always looking for a chance to eat it. The menu of course is rather predictable, with the usual stuff on it. But the fun atmosphere, with all the decorations, music and paraphernalia added to the reasonable cost, make it a great place to visit.

Whats the deal with Mexican food in London. Stodgy, often bland and favourless. Prime example is this busy eatery in the heart of Greenwich. The food is edible but not a glittering example of the cuisine

If you like Mexican food then Cafe Sol in Greenwich is one of the top places to visit. They have the usual array of burritos, fajitas, enchiladas and nachos. Great atmosphere makes this place very popular for dinners and its cheap too.

ReportI like it here. I don't think the food is going to blow anyone away, and it's hardly fine dining, but I've never ever had a bad meal here. And even when I've come in just the kitchen was closing, they've been friendly and didn't rush me and my then boyfriend.
It's not the first place I ever think of coming, but when I do I really enjoy it. Dinner won't cost you more than £20, and I always stick to the steak (I've never been overly impressed with their starters though). It does exactly what you'd expect it to do.
