West Coast Wine Tasting
15 Feb 13 20.00 - 22.00
Price: £ 35.00
Venue: The Conservatoire 19-21 Lee Road SE3 9RQ
Come to the Conservatoire for a fun evening of wine tasting and live music. The USA has been producing wine for over 300 years, and is now the fourth largest wine producing country in the world. But how much do you know about American wine? We are very lucky to have Andrew Wilcocks from The Wine Treasury, coming to show us wines from California, Washington and Oregon State. The diverse West Coast geography of these states, along with the American flair for innovation, is producing better quality wines than ever. And who could resist wines with names like “Duck Pond” and “Decoy”? We will have live music in the breaks, and nibble pizza kindly donated by Strada Blackheath, so come along to taste, socialise and raise funds for the Conservatoire. There will be an opportunity to order wine at the end of the evening
100% of your ticket price contributes towards our fundraising goal. The Conservatoire is at risk of closure if it cannot raise £175,000 by the end of February 2013.
