As featured on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, Sadler’s Wells and the West End stage. Don’t miss this opportunity to see London’s leading tango dancers and musicians. Dancers Mina and Giraldo have featured in Tiempo de Tango/Romance D’Carnaval/Midnight Tango. Specially for this event, they are interpreting tangos of traditional and modern styles with a special tribute to the great Astor Piazzolla.
Pinta Brava Trio is an unique collaboration between London-based Argentine singer Guillermo Rozenthuler and outstanding Dutch bandoneon player Gerard van Duinen and guitarist Mirek Walton, with special guest John Turville on piano. They play tangos, milongas and valses with energy and a lyrical quality, bringing together the musical virtuosity and raw passionate fire that makes Argentine Tango unique.
This specially formed band will play in their repertoire "Querido Astor", their tribute to Astor Piazzolla, the celebrated composer, bandoneonist and Tango innovator of the 20th century
The concert is open to everyone from the aficionado to new audiences who wish to enter the world of tango for first time. This concert-dance event will be a great opportunity to join the journey of Tango Argentino, its music and dance. Taster dance sessions for beginners are offered on Saturday 19th at Blackheath Hall. Call the box office for bookings and enquiries.
