On Sunday 27th April Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice is hosting its second Mini Marathon fundraising event. Taking place two weeks after the Virgin London Marathon, the Mini Marathon is a fantastic opportunity for children aged between 7 and 16 to challenge themselves to a 2.62 mile sponsored run around Royal Greenwich Park. It is also a wonderful way for kids to get involved with fundraising for Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice.
Registration is £7.50 per child and all runners will receive a special Mini Marathon medal at the finish line. The first 250 children signing up for the Mini Marathon will also receive a Frankie & Benny’s *Kids Eat Free voucher, which is valid for one year. (*Voucher is valid for under 11 year olds only.)
The registration fee covers the cost of staging the event so we are encouraging every runner to raise as much sponsorship as possible for the Hospice.
All runners raising over £100 in sponsorship will automatically be entered into our free prize draw with the chance to win fantastic donated prizes, including Waterfront Leisure Centre memberships, gift vouchers and a £75 family meal voucher for Frankie & Benny’s restaurant in Greenwich!
Exclusive Mini Marathon T-Shirts are available to purchase in advance for £4.50 - this is a great way to tell the world that your child is supporting their local hospice!
We are hoping to sign 500 runners up to this year’s Mini Marathon and raise £25,000, which will help us to continue providing our FREE specialist care to local people living with life-limiting illnesses, so sign your child up now!
