This March Greenwich Oxfam is getting together with Greenwich Chic Events to celebrate International Women's Day in style.

"Touch of Glamour" will be held in the gorgeous Nelson Rooms at the Trafalgar Tavern and will celebrate a variety of local female talent whilst raising money for Oxfam.
Get Together is a national Oxfam event which aims to celebrate International Women's Day and transform the lives of women living in poverty around the world. "Touch of Glamour" will be Greenwich Oxfam's biggest events as part of this to date.

On the night the entertainment will begin with some soulful tunes from our house singer and piano player.
This will be followed by best-selling author Wendy Moore reading from her new novel "How to Create the Perfect Wife". Wendy lives in Eltham and her last book Wedlock was a Sunday Times No1 bestseller, spent 12 weeks in top ten, was a Richard & Judy TV Book Club favourite and received amazing reviews. She will also be signing copies
of the book which will be on sale.

The entertainment continues with stand up comedy courtesy of Viv Groskop. Viv is a well regarded writer, critic, and broadcaster as well as stand-up comedian. She regularly writes and reviews for a number of national newspapers, and appears of Sky News and Radio 4. She is part of the Funny Women group and was a finalist in the 2012 Funny Women awards.

The evening will culminate with a catwalk show from local boutique Traffic People.
Throughout the evening Nails Inc will be offering free manicures, and there will be a range of fashion and craft stalls selling their wares, making it the perfect place to get last minute Mother's Day gifts.

The bar in the Nelson Rooms will be open for exclusive use of guests attending the event. Tickets are on sale now at just £8, this includes entry to the event and a free cupcake!

All ticket proceeds, as well as 10% of everything sold on the stalls, will go to Oxfam.

So get your friends, family or workmates together, and get along to try yourself and celebrate all things great
about women!

Doors 6.30pm, event ends at 10pm, venue closes at 11pm
Tickets £8 (suitable for age 11+, all under 18's must be accompanied by an adult, ID will be required). No tickets will be available on the door so please ensure they are purchased in advance at http://tinyurl.com/a3bvtw7
