Jazz Singing Masterclass with award-winning singer Sarah Ellen Hughes
If you’ve always wanted to sing Jazz, then you won’t want to miss this fantastic masterclass with award-winning jazz singer Sarah Ellen Hughes.
Referred to by Jazz Journal as a ‘talent to look out for’, this is a chance for you to perform a song of your choice, with feedback from Sarah, before working on both ballad singing and medium swing. There will also be a short introduction to improvisation, and to finish, singing in harmony as a group.
All levels of experience welcome.
You can also see Sarah perform on Thursday 7 February as part of the Conservatoire’s Jazz Night benefit concert.
100% of your ticket price contributes towards our fundraising goal. The Conservatoire is at risk of closure if it cannot raise £175,000 by the end of February 2013.
