Ancient Indian civilisation exhibition until November 3, 2012 at Greenwich Heritage Centre, Artillery Square, Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, SE18 4DX, from 9am-5pm.
A new exhibition on Ancient Indians at the Greenwich Heritage Centre. On the occasion of the 150th Birth Centenary of Swami Vivekananda, the Hindu Youth Association (Woolwich) has organised a free exhibition on Ancient Indian civilisation in partnership with the Greenwich Heritage Centre.
Indian culture, philosophies, religions, sciences, maths and architecture have contributed to almost every imaginable field of human endeavour, and the exhibition consists of 30 colourful and informative posters on various themes, for example India's contributions to mathematics and science, yoga and ayurveda, nature and environment.
The exhibition aims to spread awareness about Hindu Dharma and traditions from India and the Greenwich Heritage Centre will become the first institution to host the touring exhibition in London.
