What do you think of the new plans for Sainsbury;s on Greenwich High Road? In favour? Or do you think it'll damage the independent shops nearby?

I have lived in Greenwich for the past 8 years and the only supermarkets are the Co-op ( was Somerfields) and Marks & Spencer Food store. I have been a loyal customer of the Co-op during this time and find all the staff very friendly and cheerful, I am looking forward to the new Sainsbury store to be located in the same parade of shops as the Co-op. I will obviously try the new Sainsbury store when it opens to see what they offer which maybe different to the co-op. I can see that as the two shops are adjacent to each other that it maybe that I will do some shopping in one and then the other for different things, we will have to wait and see. Dont worry Co-op I will still visit you!!!

I'm really looking forward to the new store opening, it's nice to have a choice and to be honest Co-Op is a bit pricey when you are on a tight budget.
