I'm actually torn between three and four stars with this cute little cafe. I think it's a four star venue, but I only ever have an average experience in here. And I can't tell if I'm unlucky, or if it's their fault or not. I never seem to get here in time for breakfast, their wifi never works and it's always full when I'm here. So my trips here are rare. But on the off chance I spot a table outside, and the sun is shining, it's lovely. I really like the salads, they do excellent coffee, and it's a cute little place. But my time spent here is often thwarted and I end up going elsewhere. I really really want to like this place. Problem is that everyone else seems to as well. Still, might pop in and get a brownie next time I'm walking by.

One of the best brownies I've ever had, and I'm practically a collector (or devourer)! This place is off the back streets near the theatre so it avoids the big crowds of tourists. A friendly guy served us and had a bit of banter with us. They don't charge till the end which for some reason pleases me in places, as I feel the emphasis isn't on getting my money off of me as quickly as possible. As well as the tasty browie we also had a lemon drizzle cake which was moist and fresh. The hot chocolate (we were on a health fix, you see) was also lovely. It's a great place to people watch and has a nice atmosphere and happy staff. On the nagatives, it's not the cheapest place around but I didn't think it was over priced just more upmarket than some. We were also forced to sit on stalls up against the window as there were no tables because three young yuppy girls were taking up lots of room. And finally the music was a bit all over the place. But it has a real feeling of a happy independent, and something about this little deli captured my heart and I would recommend it and it's beautiful brownies to anyone looking for a pit stop in the area.
