A park with that captures two of the most important things about London: the history and the diversity. Hang out of old Henry VIII, it's now home to tourists, locals, roller bladers, children, everyone! And everyone loves it. It's the right size, the right shape, in a fantastic location. Great for a romantic walk or for an intense jog, and it houses some good events too. I love it here.

It is. There's no park more beautiful, and more perfect. You can argue all about Hampstead Heath as much as you like, call my biased but I'll stay loyal to Greenwich Park. The Observatory is a huge part of that (camera obscura!) and the view is just stunning, one of the best in London. The squirrels are *definitely* the friendliest in London. They'll jump all over you if you let them. Do take them some nuts.
There's deer too, if you can find them. And a rose garden, and a yummy tea shop (EXCELLENT ice cream). The tree in the middle scares me a bit (people were rumoured to by TRAPPED INSIDE) and there's cute boys playing football. Oh, and pedal boats. Frisbee! it's a part, the activites are pretty predictable, but my goodness it's pretty here. If you're having a lazy day in Greenwich, and you're not here when the sun sets, you're in the wrong place.
