During adverse winter weather, some local services in Royal Greenwich might be affected.

Here is the latest information about how Greenwich is coping.

During this cold spell, the Royal Borough's gritting teams are out each day and overnight, now focusing on priority routes and town centres. Transport for London are responsible for Red Routes.

The borough's Winter Service Plan, available from the link on the right, includes the following:

  • Which roads and footpaths are priority for gritting
  • how snow removal is managed
  • locations of salt bins around the borough.
